Why Religion Doesn't Work:
There are many religions, cults and sects all teaching different belief systems. Most people cannot explain what they believe or what they have been taught. Religion doesn't work because it is all about the "things" you must do to appease or reach God. We know this cannot be true because when the crowds asked Jesus "What must we do to do the work God requires?". Jesus answered "The work of God is this: to believe in the One He has sent." John 6.28 (NIV).

Foundation teaching:
Our teaching is based on understanding. The basic foundations of what we believe are realizing that  God is our Father and that God is Love. There is only one Truth, and that is in what Jesus has already said and done. Jesus said "Take my yoke upon you and learn from me; I am gentle and humble in heart and you will find rest for your souls, for my yoke is easy and my burden is light." Matthew 11.29-30 (NIV). In this scripture, Jesus shows us how easy it is to become a child of God. How is this done? By accepting and acknowledging what Jesus has already said and done.

Positive Effects:
We teach children and adults the benefits of speaking and living as Jesus taught us. Staying positive when difficulties arise, never giving in to negativity, and separating yourself from influences that tear you down. The Bible tells us why this is important: "As he thinks in his heart, so is he." Proverbs 23.7. If we think positive, we will stay positive.

Experiences in Ministry:
Being an ordained minister, I have been put in situations that would make people's heads spin. The experiences that I was subject to were not what I would have expected from believers in Jesus. With all that has happened to me, it is through this positive understanding that I have overcome these experiences. The purpose of sharing this with you is to teach you that there is nothing worth responding to in a negative way. Forgiveness, mercy and love have endured in my life and in my ministry.
